Literature Text
I can't kill the darkness
inside of me
without killing the light
as well.
inside of me
without killing the light
as well.
Literature
Lullaby
Hush, hush, Child
Monsters don't hide
In the dark of night.
Sleep tight, Child
You're not alone.
All evil walk on two feet
Their faces are human,
Hands can give and destroy.
Let them close,
They'll whisper sweet things,
But serpent tongues
Drip poison to your ears.
The arsenic of their words
Laces your brain with sorrow,
As it spreads slowly
Through veins and arteries,
Killing from inside,
But you have to stand up
Have to carry on.
Hush, hush, Child
Monsters don't hide
In the dark of night.
Sleep tight, Child
You are not alone.
You feel small and weak
Abandoned and fragile,
But remember always
You are loved.
Bones can break, and
Wounds
Literature
Darkness
The beautiful darkness
The softness of its touch
As it swirls around you
Invisibly
Entangling all
The perfect blackness
Its dose of the unknown
Its whispers
The teasing
Regeneration of the soul
Its elegant sadness
The absence of a blinding light
Its pleasing pain
Its burning love
An expression so ultimate
It pours
Over the damned living
Their lingering fears
So uselessly overfed
Immaculate darkness
The trembling and the zest
The warmth from within
The safety
Of uncertainty experienced
In blackness we fall
In emptiness we resurrect
So clean and purified
So new
Our animal selves
The instincts
When fighting within ceased
In darkness we ar
Literature
no solution
I am afraid to sleep in the dark.
I can't fall asleep with a night light.
